Delete your data
Last updated Friday, 23 October 2026
How to have your information deleted from PatchPoint. We confirm each request and complete it within 30 days.
1. If your business uses PatchPoint
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my workspace" and your workspace's name. Only an owner of the workspace can ask for it to be deleted.
We reply to confirm, then delete the workspace: its messages, calls, voicemail and call recordings, contacts, images, files, documents, bookings, staff records, rosters, timecards, settings, team and stored connections to WhatsApp and other services. Your sign-in account is deleted too, unless you belong to another workspace.
To delete only your own sign-in account and keep the workspace, say so in the email. Another owner keeps the workspace running.
2. Disconnecting WhatsApp
To stop PatchPoint from receiving your WhatsApp messages, open Meta Business Suite, then Settings, Business integrations (or Apps), and remove PatchPoint. Then ask us to delete the data already received, as above.
3. If you messaged a business
Your conversation, including your calls and any voicemail or recording of them, and any email address you gave for a booking, belong to the business you wrote to; PatchPoint keeps them on that business's behalf. Ask the business to delete them.
If you cannot reach the business, email [email protected] with your phone number and the business's name. We pass the request to the business and, unless it must keep the messages by law, delete them.
4. What we keep
- Billing records, for as long as tax law requires.
- A one-way hash of identifiers such as an email address or phone number, so a business gets one free trial. The original value cannot be read back from it.
